Special Guest Speaker: Mary Foley, National Health Practice Leader, PricewaterhouseCoopers
As National Health Practice Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers Mary is responsible for all the firm’s services to the health industry. Prior to this appointment, Mary was foundation Chief Executive of St Vincents and Mater Health Sydney (2001-2008), where she successfully led the merger of some of Sydney’s leading public and private health care and medical research institutions into an integrated, highly effective group which provides public teaching hospital, private hospital, aged care, sub acute, community and medical research services.
Throughout her career, Mary has written extensively on health policy and has recently served as an adviser to the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission, writing a number of commissioned policy papers on financing and structural options for the Australian health system.
