As part of our next Quarterly General Meeting, The APPA Executive Committee is pleased to invite you to a talk by Director of the Family Medicine Research Centre at the University of Sydney, Associate Professor Helena Britt on: Practice research - Issues around developing and running surveys of GP practices
Professor Helena Britt is Director of the Family Medicine Research Centre and the AIHW Australian GP Statistics and Classification Centre, University of Sydney. She is chief investigator of the BEACH program, a continuous national study of GP clinical activity—now in its 13th year. Originally a psychologist, Professor Britt gained her Doctorate in general practice and has worked in general practice research and development for more than 30 years. She has authored more than 170 published journal articles and 34 books on general practice activity, coding and classification, adverse patient events, and methodological issues.
