Privacy Policy
The information that APPA obtains from you allows the Association to confirm your eligibility for membership and to communicate with you. APPA maintains a membership database for the purposes of communicating with members, alerting them of events, news and advertising, and surveying their views in relation to APPA, its role and services. You may elect to opt in or opt out of e-mail and postal services. However, as the Association has a goal of providing information, education and networking opportunities, participation is encouraged to ensure members receive these benefits. Surveys conducted by the Association allow respondents to remain anonymous.
A list of members with basic contact details is available via the Members Only area of the APPA website. Members are able to access their own details for purposes of checking and updating. Apart from this, APPA does not provide member information to other members. Member information is not provided to third parties.
We do offer an e-mail distribution service to advertisers. Any information/material for distribution is reviewed to ensure its relevance and appropriateness for our members before it is distributed by APPA to the membership. The e-mail distribution service is both a service to members and a source of revenue to subsidise other member activities.
